The City of Kimberley, where GXY Architects is based, owes its existence to the discovery of diamonds in 1871. In 1885, an Architect by the name of Robert Scott Day settled in Kimberley where he practiced until 1890 leaving his practice in the hands of the young Greatbatch who rebranded the practice to DW Greatbatch Architect, and retained this name for many years. The practice operated as Goldblatt Yuill Architects from 1977 to the 1st of March 2012 when the name changed to GXY Architects as its widely known today in the Free SState. This unique heritage and long standing experience has enabled GXY Architects a consistent growth, and a larger client base with all work produced efficiently, timeously, and professionally in the following sectors:
